What I Learned About Seeing Texture:
Textures are everywhere in our environment, from the roughness of a tree bark to the intricate patterns on fabrics. In photography, texture brings depth and touch to an image; it allows the viewer to feel like they can reach out and touch the object. This particular image highlights the juxtaposition between the organic texture of the leaves and the man-made texture of the wooden fence. The change in colors of the leaves also adds an element of texture in the form of visual contrast
